Happy St. Patty's Day

Happy St. Patty's Day!We went camping this past weekend in Jasper with some of our friends. His family owns several acres and it has a cabin on it. It was raining when we first got there on Friday, but the kids still had fun playing in the rain. Saturday was much better weather and they got to play outside a lot more. We got to ride (or push! :)) a golf cart around in the mud, eat, relax, eat some more, and just have fun! The guys had set out a line in the river to catch our supper for Saturday night. When they went to check it this is what they found......
a 25 LB CATFISH plus a few more! Wow! Good job guys. Then, Stephanie made homemade french fries and some yummy coleslaw. We were set with a great meal! That is truly how God intended for it to be.....catch and eat! :)

Look what Miss Jolie is starting to do...sit up by herself! Yeah!

All smiles to you! Have a great day and I hope you are wearing green!

Lunch...

The kids and I went to eat lunch with Jason in Longview. He got a new office all by himself. So, we wanted to check it out! Here are some pictures of our trip.....

Say hello to, Mr. Jake Carlile, the new landman at Sampson Lonestar.

We went to eat at Jalapeno Tree. Yummy! Jake put his hat on Jolie.

She thought it was pretty funny.

Here is my sweet crew!

When we got home Jake wanted to play the Wii.....
I think he had a little too much fun last night on his birthday!

I hope everyone is having a fun Spring Break! I know we are loving it!!!

Happy 6th Birthday Sweet Boy!!!

On Monday March 10, 2003 I went into the hospital for a c-section to have Jenna Marie. Jaelynn was 17 months old at the time and she was ready to be the "big" sister. They rolled me into the operating room at 8:00. At 8:31 Dr. Tutt pulls JAKE MARSHALL out!!! Boy, were we SURPRISED! Jason had looked at me and said IT IS A BOY and he weighs 9LBS 5OZ!!! The assisting Dr. asked Dr. Tutt what he had told us the baby was -he laughed and said girl. So, imagine the surprise when Jason walked out to Jaelynn and said meet your BROTHER! Everyone screamed! :) We were thrilled to have a boy. But- let me tell you it took me a little bit to realize the fact we no longer had a little girl named Jenna. SO, many people came bearing GIRL gifts. They would come to the room and go back to the nurses station. They thought they had the wrong room. Hee hee! We had NOTHING for a boy. So, my mom returned ALL the gifts and brought us boy clothes. I don't think Jason would have liked him to wear pink. :)

Today we let him pick what he wanted to do. So, we went to Jumpin Jacks for Open Jump.
Some of our good friends came to play too! Then, we all went to McDonald's. Oh, what fun!
Jaelynn, Kate, Emmy, Taylor, Jake, and Tess

Then, tonight we had a family party with
my Mom and Dad, Uncle Brian, Tyler, Taylor, Paige, Uncle Trey, Aunt Jennifer, Maddie, Mollie, and Uncle Doug all came for the celebration.

Jake got a new baseball glove from us. I think he liked it. :)

Taylor, Jaelynn, Paige (Tyler's girlfriend), Jake, Tyler, and Jolie.

Here is a picture of all three kiddos on Jake's special day!

We have been very blessed by this sweet blue-eyed boy. Happy Birthday Jake!

And- I am very thankful you are who you are!

Knock, Knock, Who's there at 1 AM?

THE POLICE!!!!!!

Yes, that is right the police. Jason and I hopped out of bed when we heard the very loud knock on our door the middle of the night. My heart was pounding!!!!!! Jason went to the window and peeked out to see two police officers. What in the world? We had been wrapped and someone had thrown shredded paper ALL over our many bushes and yard!!!! :( We do not know who wrapped our house or called the police.) We went ahead and cleaned it up while it was all dry. There is still LOTS of the shredded paper everywhere, but we picked up what we could. So, we got in back in bed after 2. UGH! So, if you were the one who wrapped us...Thanks. We will find out who you are and pay you back when you are least expecting it! Hee hee! :)

We survived.....

We survived this....

Jake wanted camo everything. :) I think we did pretty good filling that request.

We had these..... roasted hot dogs! Yum!

(The fire is in one of my Dad's old pots because we can not burn in the city limits.)

One of the favorite activities was.......

silly string!

And they finally did this...................

got in the tent to sleep.
Jason slept out there with them. He said they finally crashed around 11:20.

So, that is not too bad! Right?

After everyone left we did this................

relaxed!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Spring Break!

Has it already been another month?

Happy 5th month birthday sweet girl!
She is eating cereal, eating some veggies, rolling over both ways, grabbing at EVERYTHING, and laughing SO hard out loud. She is such a joy. Jaelynn and Jake are the best big sister and brother. They really like playing with her now that she interacts with them more.

Oh YUCK!!!!

Most everyone knows...I DO NOT handle throw up well! I remember teaching a Pre-K afternoon class at Green Acres and when a child got sick I was running to the bathroom myself. Before Jason and I had kids the agreement was I would change poopy diapers and he had throw up duty! Well, let me just say he followed through like a champ last night!!!! Jaelynn came to my side of the bed a little before 1am with "Mommy, I just threw up in my bed. I tried to make it to the bathroom." Oh boy I am glad Jason heard her and jumped out of bed to help. He took off sheets, sprayed Lysol on everything, and put the sheets into the washer. Yeah for my Honey!! Jaelynn said,"Mommy, I feel so much better." She was fine this morning and has not run any fever. I hope we made the right choice to send her on to school. I wanted her to stay home. But- she was bouncing around this morning saying "No, I want to go -I feel good!" I really do think she ate TOO much junk yesterday and it did not settle well. I guess we will see if I get a phone call from school. :)
