Quietness

Quietness is overrated. I think. Umm...maybe not. School started today and it is pretty quiet around my house. I still have a sweet 10 and 1/2 month old to keep me busy, but it is quiet. Jolie is contently playing with her toys and grinning from ear to ear. Maybe this is because no one is trying to play with her by putting their face in hers or taking toys away to "show" her how to play with them. No screaming, loud laughing, T.V. blaring, DS music playing....going on today at our house. Just quietness! Yes, school did start and we had two nervous kids. That is what they both told us on the way to school this morning. We took Jaelynn first to her class. She is usually very outgoing, but not so much today. She will be fine! That is what I keep saying anyway. Jake never has liked change and today was no different. He did ok though. Here are pictures of our two very cute schoolers today.

Today is a special day for two reasons....

1st of all today is my beautiful, wonderful, very talented, caring, giving, etc....Mom's birthday! If you do not know my Momma I am so sorry. She is all those things and more. She makes our family what it is today.
Happy birthday Momma! We love you!!!!!

*2nd of all it is Miss Jolie's 10 month birthday. *

Here is a picture of Jolie's favorite facial expression right now.

Look at these cute little pigtails she wore today for the first time. Cute huh?

Jaelynn and Jake used to love playing with the kitchen. I cleaned it up and now look who likes playing with it too.

Here is a list of things she is keeping us busy with right now:

*she loves EATING!!!! She eats everything we eat, even asparagus. I am telling you this child is NOT picky.

*she is a cruising everywhere. My goodness she is SO fast crawling. Jason nicknamed her "Scooter".

*she pulls up and gets from thing to thing.

*she can stand up by herself in the middle of the floor, but not constantly.

*she has taken a step two different times.

*anything goes in her mouth and I mean ANYTHING!!!!

*is infatuated with outlets and light switches.

*laughs and smiles all the time (very rarely cries, but yes of course it does happen).

*she weighs 15lbs 13 1/2oz which is only 4% for her age. (They did blood work to make sure she is getting all the nutrients from me. Since, I am still nursing.)

*she is 28in which is 58% for her age. (Tall and skinny like her daddy)

*she waves to say hi and bye.

*she has a few phrases and words she is saying...."hi dere", what tat?", "all done (with the sign)", momma, dada, jaja, and something for my mom.

*she loves drinking from a straw.

*she loves her blankie.

*she is getting her two canine teeth. You can see the white really good on one and almost on the other. So, that will make 6 teeth.

Well, I think that is about it for now. We are so blessed to see this silly girl with such a great personality blossom everyday.

Yesteryear and The Rangers

Jaelynn was asked to be a maiden in a court for the Yesteryear celebration this past weekend. It was a family friend or honestly we would not have done it. The only way Jaelynn agreed to this whole get up is if she could walk across the stage with somebody she knew. So, they paired her with Cade, who is a close family friend also. We ended up having a great time. Three nights of flowers from Cade. Isn't that SWEET? Jaelynn loved them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then, on Sunday night we got 1/2 price Ranger tickets for the big kids and us. We left Jolie for the 1st time with my parents. (I did good...ahem, I mean she did good.)

Finally the Wedding Post

Let me start by saying if you want to go back and read how we started dating you can read it here. Also, I am almost a month behind. :(

Our Wedding Day
I love this man, Michael Jason Carlile. We have been married 12 years now. I love him more now than I ever dreamed possible on our wedding day. We truly have become one. I know you hear people say they get butterflies when they see their mate...I truly frequently still do! Jason is such a godly father to our children, a wonderful provider, protector, caretaker, handyman, etc.... He is the one that I will love spending everyday with until we grow old and wrinkly. :) Thank you Jason for a wonderful, sometimes bumpy, but most of all blessed 12 years of being married to you! With all my love, Jennifer
