Great Day!

Awwww...today was or still is my 33rd birthday. It started off with my favorite breakfast (waffles) on our red You are Special Today plate made by sweet husband. Then, I sorted through Christmas decorations, put up all the decorations, and enjoyed family time. Jason grilled my favorite fish Tilipia and Salmon for dinner. YUMMMM... The kids gave me a beautiful frame about family and Jason gave me a Willow Tree angel. It was the husband and wife embracing each other and it is titled Promise. Oh, I just love it! And, I got to stay in my pajamas ALL day long!!!!! I think this was one of my favorite birthdays in a long time. Thank you for a wonderful day! I love you, Jason!

Merry Christmas!

I hope this finds you with bellies full, holiday cheer (still), and feeling blessed. We had a wonderful day. We had a Happy Birthday Jesus party and read the Christmas story. Then, we came in the living room to find presents under the tree. Oh, it was all SO fun! They are old enough to really treasure the true meaning. It was a very special first Christmas with baby Jolie. I am heading to bed now with a belly way too full. And, we still have one more Christmas with Jason's dad tomorrow. Good night and MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Busy Busy....

Oh my- can I please come up for air? I feel like my wheels are spinning so fast and I CAN'T KEEP UP! I really did forget what holidays are like with a newborn. Poor sweet baby stayed in her car seat WAY TOOOOO much the last few days. Between all the parties at school for Jaelynn and Jake, last minute shopping, and other fun activities. Oh and this is just the beginning. Right? Ugh...I mean Holiday cheer coming our way. :) One funny saying for today- Jake told me at lunch that he was really full just like Santa. hee hee! I feel like that too after just pigging out on Mexican food tonight. I hope everyone is doing great. And, remembering in all this rush and craziness the real and most important reason for this beautiful holiday- JESUS' birth! Merry Christmas.

How old do I really look?

Even in this yucky weather Jolie and I ventured out to get my haircut and go see friends at my old school. Well, as I was leaving Oak Tree a mom that I have seen a million times stopped me. She said,"I was wondering when you were going to have your baby and here you are with this big baby out." I replyed, "She is two months now." Then, the conversation went on about what a good baby she is and how she loved her name. This is the funny part....The mom said,"I am so glad you have a good FIRST baby." I laughed and said, "Oh no. This is our THIRD baby." I thought I was going to have to pick her up off the pavement!!!! She started laughing and said, "How OLD ARE YOU?" I told her almost 33. And, again I thought I would have to pick her up! She was really laughing now. She said, "I thought you were 19 and you were a first time mom!!!!" HA HA HA HA!!! Wow! I used to hate it when people thought I was so young. Now, I LOVE IT!!!!

First Blog?!?

Well, here it is my first attempt at blogging. My life is pretty boring, but very busy. This weekend for example was filled every minute. On Friday night we went with our Sunday school class to a surprise location to eat. We never know until we get there what we will fill our tummies with for the night. Well, let's just say I wish I would have eaten before we went. I am not a fan of Italian food. I do like pizza and my dad's homemade spaghetti. But, we had a great time visiting with dear friends. Unlike some of our dear friends who were at home in pj's eating cereal. (You know who you are...) On Saturday morning my sister-in-law and I went to stamp calendar's for the new year. It is my favorite class to attend each year. Stamping is so much fun and very relaxing. I just wish I could do it more. The morning did not start out so relaxing though. I thought I had every thing under control. Ha Ha! I would feed Jolie at 9am and still be on time to pick up sis-in-law at 9:40. Wrong! I got to her house at 10:00. Which is when the class started. Then, as sweet as I am I wanted to give my brother-in-law his work out for the morning. I let their new dog run out the front door. So sorry! We arrived for our class 20 minutes late. Oh, I forgot to mention I have my little 9 week bundle of joy,Jolie, with me too. The two big sweeties,Jaelynn and Jake, went to the town parade with their daddy and my parents. In the middle of our class Jolie got hungry. So, I have her eating under a cover to hide my body parts! And, stamping with the "free" hand. Did I mention I am talented? Hee Hee! We had tons of fun and have a beautiful calendar for pictures to treasure all year long. Then, Saturday night we had another party with church friends at the church. It is to show appreciation to our pastor and staff. Oh, I love my church!!! We had a blast laughing with our dear friends (which the others decided to join us this time and did not stay home to eat cereal). My sides were hurting. Then,Jason and I took all three kiddos to a b-ball game to watch a friend coach at 8:30 at night. Some friends had asked us because he will be leaving Friday for Iraq. Poor them had to listen to Jolie cry pretty much all the way there. All four of their kids are in high school or college. So, it has been awhile since they had to listen to a baby cry. As soon as we got there I went to the bathroom stall for feeding privacy. I am getting great writing topics reading the restroom walls. We did not get home until 10:30! Way too late to get in bed before a church morning. On Sunday morning I started teaching my Kindergarten class again. I have been on maternity leave since October. I was glad to be back teaching again. Now, this Monday morning, Jolie and I are at home relaxing. The big sweeties are at school having fun! I am sure I bored you to tears, but I will get better I hope. So long for now. I have to get busy with laundry. Boring!
