A True Treasure

This morning Jaelynn wanted to do a treasure hunt. I said sure...we always love a good find. So, she wrote several clues and I went searching by MYself!!!! I wondered why nobody was helping me. When I got to the "treasure" it was the best treasure ever....all THREE kids were on the back porch waiting for me to find them. At least my kids know what a "true treasure" is to me. I love you kiddos. :)

Summer fun already beginning.....

Oh my- this weekend has been crazy busy! But,TONS of fun!!! It started with
Friday night: We were treated dinner by my Mom and Dad at a new fish place in town. It was very tasty. Thank you again!! Then, we went to a play at the high school. It was presented by the middle school students. They did a great job. My kids really enjoyed all the singing and dancing. Jaelynn and Jake went to spend the night with Grandme and Poppa afterwards.
Saturday morning: I woke up bright and early. Jason's cousin, Stephanie, and I headed to Gladewater to shop at The Ribbon Store. Have I told you I am addicted to ribbon? I love all the bright colors and patterns. Also, do you know I have a bow business? Bowheads is the name of my new homebased, money on the side, addiction, and keeps my girls head covered with cute outfit makers business. :)
Saturday evening: Stephanie, Lauree, and myself all had a girl's night out. Can you believe I left my kids 2 times in one day? Never happens. Jolie had 2 bottles in 1 day. Which never happens either!!!! Thank you Jason for being so kind to let me have some much needed girl time. Anyway-we went to eat at Clear Springs. Yum Yum! Then, we went see Ghosts of Girlfriends Past. Interesting, funny, cute, and not appropriate for younger viewers. You know- we discussed that it was rated PG-13. Well,it was more like what R used to be!!!!!
Sunday morning: Church!! :) That afternoon the two good friends from the above day and myself took our kids to the spray park in Tyler. Oh, good old times. They were fun to watch. I was upset that I forgot my camera. So,no pictures. :( Then, Jake went home with Lauree, who has the only other boy in our group. There was 2 boys and 7 girls. They were just a little out numbered. Jaelynn had a friend spending the night. So, it worked out great for Jake to not be home with all the girls.
Monday: We stayed home most of the day. Jason worked in the yard. I love fresh cut grass and manicured bushes. It looks SO great! Now, I need to add some color with pretty flowers. I made 12 bows for an order due this week. This evening we went to Stephanie and Alek's house to eat the fish the guys had caught. OH, SO YUMMY! It was a wonderful way to end the long weekend.

Yes, it is that time again-Jolie has turned another month closer to her 1st birthday. She turned 7 months on the 5th. It is just flying by!!!! She is becoming so active and playful too. She is trying to crawl. She will get up on all fours and reach out for objects in front of her. Jolie loves her siblings sometimes them more than me I think. :) Here are some fun pictures of activities they have enjoyed this month.
